Moroccan Spice Beef Brisket
Updated: Sep 16
Slow-cooked, then oven roasted
Ricipe Reator: Jennifer Walsh
This slow-cooked Moroccan Beef Brisket is the kind of meal that rewards patience. The beef is marinated in my homemade Moroccan Seasoning blend, then slowly cooked with onion, garlic, tomatoes and beef stock until beautifully tender.
A final roast in the oven gives the brisket a rich, caramelised finish, while the cooking juices are reduced into a deeply flavoured gravy. Warm spices, tender beef and a generous homemade sauce make this a comforting family meal, especially when served with roasted seasonal vegetables, buttery couscous or creamy mashed potato.

This Moroccan Beef Brisket would make a beautiful centrepiece for a special occasion, family celebration or relaxed Sunday gathering. It feels generous and impressive when brought to the table, yet most of the cooking happens slowly and quietly in the background, leaving you more time to enjoy the people you are sharing it with.
