They were absolutely delicious, an easy homemade burger recipe that’s definitely worth sharing.

Recipe Creator: Nicole - Simple Home Edit

These burgers were absolutely delicious, juicy, meaty, full of flavour and ridiculously easy to make. The kind of dinner where everyone finishes their plate and you immediately think, yep… we’re making these again. Straight onto my “make-them-again” list they go.

They’re also exactly the sort of meal I want up my sleeve for a Friday night, you know the one, it’s been a long week, nobody particularly feels like cooking, and ordering takeaway is starting to sound very tempting?, yep, that's the one.

You could easily get one step ahead and prep everything the night before. Make and shape your burger patties, pop them into the fridge, wash and chop your salad, and you’re basically done.

Then Friday night rolls around and all you need to do is cook those juicy patties, toast your buns and let everyone pile on their favourite toppings. (home run)

Easy. Homemade. Delicious.

Considerably more productive than another “what on earth are we having for dinner?” conversation at 5:30pm.

Friday night dinner = sorted.

I hope this recipe inspires you to try making your next batch of burger patties from scratch. They’re so easy to make, budget-friendly, and best of all, you know exactly what’s going into them.

Once you realise how simple homemade burger patties are, you might just find the store-bought ones don’t make it into your trolley quite as often!

As you know, I’m on a journey to learn to cook it all from scratch, so I’m always looking for opportunities to learn wherever I can.

Often, that means stepping into someone else’s kitchen, figuratively speaking, and cooking from their recipes. Genuinely, I'm so grateful, I’ve learned so much by doing exactly that.

So, when I cook a recipe that isn’t my own, I'll always tell you where it came from and who I learned it from. That’s exactly what this post is about, sharing where I learned to make Juicy Homemade Beef Burgers, and who taught me, in this case, it was the wonderful Nicole from "Simple Home Edit".

What I won’t do is reproduce someone else’s recipe and pass it around as my own. I’m not in the business of “cutting someone else’s lunch” — no pun intended.

Instead, I’ll happily share a link to the original recipe, so you can head straight to the source, learn from the person who created it, and cook it for yourself. (sharing is caring)

There are so many wonderful cooks, cookbooks and recipes out there to learn from, and I think part of learning to cook well, is being willing to remain a student, even after becoming a talented cook.

I hope that by sharing where I’m learning from, rather than just what I’m cooking, I might help you along your own cooking journey too. ❤️

Happy cooking

Forever Honest,

Jennifer Walsh xoxo
